Money, Money, Money: The Astrology of J.P. Morgan

Who really invests in astrology? From my experience, many of my previous clients have been business owners and entrepreneurs. Further, I’ve bridged money and astrology in my own life through unsuspecting pathways; specifically within the luxury health sectors; such as Modo Yoga, in NYC, where I got my start reading charts for my coworkers, or Lumeria Maui, who’s owner is mastermind, “high end house flipper,” Xorin Balbes. It was Lumeria Maui who proposed I take up teaching astrology and gave me my first position doing so! None of my clients ever appeared wearing mala beads, but they all share common ground: they’ve all been well funded, clear on what they want and happy to invest in deeper realms of insight. That first client, by the way? He lived in a Manhattan high rise that had a door man. And me? I got my start as a professional astrologer by providing readings in the lobby of the chic Bowery Hotel. Further, the entire zodiac is beautifully painted on the ceiling of the Grand Central Station in NYC…a marvel to see, if you can. Unbeknownst to me at the time I first arrived in the Big Apple; much of the wealth of this legendary city has been directly impacted by investors and traders who knew the ins and outs of their markets; including astrology.

I can’t reference all investors, but we do know that J.P. Morgan was a fan of astrology. And a peek into his cosmology totally confirms that he was celestially supported to empower his ability for investing and earning. The first, most notable and obvious indicator that J.P. was an “inside” trader of cosmic proportions is his Scorpio/ Taurus nodal axis. He arrived with deep Scorpionic insight; cunning, with the ability to plumb the depths and ascend to great heights with the most fierce of survivalist instincts. Scorpio energy is deeply clued into society and often naturally psychic. Scorpio rules the “urge to merge” in the deepest sense and has a thick skin when it comes to human nature. This surely endowed him with the ability to channel what was probably a psychic understanding of where the markets were trending. Scorpio is also a fixed water sign, which allows for tenacity and focus on higher, less personal pursuits. The man had drive and focus in spades. Scorpio was the energy of his previous lifetimes/early incarnation and Taurus was his “new territory,” as indicated by his north node sign. As I love to mention in my articles, astrology never exists in a vacuum. It exists in relationship; always. So, his energetic axis was Scorpio/Taurus and that axis is all about resources. Scorpio is merged resources, whether they be psychic bonds, money, blood, sex, soul mates, inheritances, genetics; but it is that which is deeply shared with another. Even the financial market uses the term “merging entities,” which parallels Scorpionic terminology. So, his Scorpio south node equipped him with the necessary resources to move forward into his new soul terrain, as seen across his chart, with a stellium of planets in the 2nd house. This house is the realm of personal resources; specifically, earned income and the personal wealth, physical legacy/reality which one builds for oneself. He had Mercury (mind), the Sun (fullest expression), Venus (love + prosperity) and Pluto (transformation) all in the second house of Aries, which speaks to a very coherent and empowering line-up of energy in the realm of earned, personal wealth. Having this “house” shared between the signs of Aries and Taurus provided inspiration, action and a pioneering spirit from Aries, with a focused, sentient stability from Taurus. His nodal axis “soul direction” was stationed in stable Taurus, which likely rounded out any radical speculations and mitigated unnecessary, high risk moves. J.P.’s Virgo moon speaks to a person with an earthy pragmatism and perfectionism running in the “subconscious background,” which was likely to be largely responsible for directing and refining the grand operation of his reality. He was also blessed with a Grand Fire Trine, which speaks to ease and grace in the realm of inspiration, leadership and higher aims. So, whether you’re a fan of these bigger money figures or not, it’s likely that they know more than they’re letting on…and larger society could potentially benefit from learning about what they knew. What I can confirm through my own personal experience, is that I’ve been pleasantly surprised that all of my clients have been wonderful and very insightful “money people” and as they say, “Money talks...”

Astrology Chart of J.P. Morgan

The very visible blue triangle in the center of his chart is the Grand Fire Trine. The key energies of his cosmology are between the 8th and 2nd houses, the realms of merged and personal resources. I believe he incarnated with a psychic ability for speculation which he applied to astute financial mergers, as seen in his 8th house, which was anchored by his spiritual growth mission to build a physical legacy, as indicated by his 2nd house. The fact that we still see banks branded with his name, is a present indicator he achieved his aim.

Forbes Magazine also knows that J.P. Morgan utilized the wisdom of astrologers to assist with his financial speculations and investments. You can read that interesting article here:
