July 4th Lunar Eclipse Forecast
Our July 4th/5th Penumbral Lunar Eclipse peaks at 9:29 PST and is visible throughout all of: Central and South America, New Zealand and the United States (except Alaska), plus much of western Europe and most of Africa and Canada. By July 4th, 5:39am PST, Vesta and the Sun in Cancer sync up at 13 degrees and ride out the entire eclipse together. Mercury is conjunct these two celestial bodies in Cancer also; softening any confusion its retrograde activity may influence. Venus and our collective North Node in Gemini inspire an air of lighthearted banter and fun. Asteroid Pallas Athene and Jupiter travel in the same degree, syncing up at 23 degrees Capricorn. Pluto, the energy of deep transformation is only one degree away from Pallas and Jupiter. The combination of this trio brings expansion and international matters of diplomacy to the fore; a theme I’ve been observing and writing about consistently this spring/early summer. Pluto brings change from deep withing; traversing the planes of reality most would prefer to gloss over. But Pluto will excavate the deepest recesses of our shared humanity in order to heal. Jupiter adds an element of global inclusiveness and optimism and Pallas; stoic, feminine wisdom. Mars conjunct Chiron speaks to our need for continued collective healing in the physical sense. Impulsiveness is likely with those two, but look to the calming presence of Cancer to soothe nerves and cultivate centeredness amidst the intensity of this cosmic weather. The presence of the lunar eclipse in Capricorn can be constructively utilized for it’s capacity to literally eclipse away anything which does not serve the highest self. Capricorn; a structured, cardinal sign, especially inspires a “deal breaker” energy to this eclipse, allowing for final decisions to be made and kept. Outdated habits, stagnant beliefs, toxic relationships, emotional crutches; anything which served its purpose to teach, but can now be released for the sake of your growth, will be activated within this celestial event.
